Bayfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau - where the water meets the soul

Bayfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau - where the water meets the soul
We have enjoyed the village community of Bayfield , Ontario for decades as have many others. I have noticed that our USA Bayfield, WI is pro-active in promoting it-self. Thumbs up!
I am offering to assist our little community to get its act together and do the same.
It is going to be a rough season for the business community.

Three men rescued from Lake Huron
Three men were rescued after their boats started taking on water Saturday afternoon, according to U.S. Coast Guard Port Huron Station Petty Officer Andrew Bartos. Crews responded to Lake Huron about 4 p.m. after receiving a call that two men on a sailboat were in distress. The about 12-foot boat flipped about four miles north of Port Huron. When it righted, the men were unable to remove water from the vessel, Bartos said. The U.S. Coast Guard removed the men from the boat, and they called another man to help tow the sailboat to shore. Bartos said an about 10-foot boat met them in the lake and hooked up to the sailboat. The second boat then began to take on water also. The third man was rescued, and all three were taken to the Black River, Bartos said. There, they gathered a team of boaters and retrieved the two vessels.
